Physical And meNtal Health Network

Aiming to address the comorbidity of mental and physical disorders. It brings together researchers to enhance primary prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment of physical disorders in individuals with mental health conditions. Through collaboration, the Network seeks to generate evidence to reduce the burden and costs of these comorbidities. Key objectives include improving healthcare integration, influencing policy, supporting multidisciplinary collaboration, and developing clinical guidance.

History

The PAN-Health Network was established in 2021 to tackle the critical intersection of physical and mental health, recognising the significant physical comorbidity rate between individuals with severe mental disorders and the general population.
