iPSCs Platform for Neuropsychiatry Network

Fostering collaboration across neuroscience, clinical research, bioinformatics, industry, and stakeholders to leverage iPSC technology for advancing mental disorder diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Key objectives include centralizing expertise, promoting cross-network collaboration, supporting early- and mid-career scientists, setting quality standards for iPSC research, and initiating international projects and grant applications.

History

Since 2019, The Network connects researchers and stakeholders to harness the potential of iPSCs in understanding mental disorders and discovering new drug treatments. It supports education, training, and dissemination, and advocates for minimal quality standards in iPSC research. 

The establishment of our network resulted in several collaborative projects between our members and members of other ECNP networks. Bringing the iPSC technology to use in various aspects of neuroscience such as diagnosis, prediction, prevention, and neuropharmacology is of great importance in mental disorders.
