Designed to facilitate the collection of essential biological, clinical and therapeutic data in a robust and replicable way, the ECNP Networks cover the range of disease-oriented and transnosological research focus areas in translational neuroscience.
- Disease-oriented Networks promote the study of specific disorders, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, etc., with a view to developing new methods of diagnosis and treatment in patients.
- Transnosological Networks are oriented towards themes or methodologies whose applications may comprise different brain diseases and several aspects of translational neuroscience, such as preclinical studies and experimental medicine for the development of new drugs.
- The Meta-Network model responds to ongoing developments in brain research by supporting novel and targeted collaboration across the Networks community.
The ECNP Networks are led by the Networks Board. Each Network is represented in the Networks Taskforce.
