The Roadmap Meeting 2027 will have a hybrid format, with presentations given in-person in Amsterdam and all sessions, including discussions, livestreamed. Both participants joining in-person and virtually will be able to interact by using the interactive Q&A tool Slido.
Participants can choose to attend in-person in Amsterdam or to register to join the meeting virtually from anywhere in the world. In-person participation is selective based on application; virtual participation is open to all.
In-person participation
The deadline to apply for in-person participation is 30 October 2026.
Virtual participation
The deadline to register for virtual participation is 26 January 2027.
In-person participation
In-person participation is limited to selected participants only. If you want to join the meeting in-person, you can apply by submitting a motivation statement (50-150 words) mentioning:

If you are not selected to join the meeting in-person you can still register to join virtually. The deadline to do so is 26 January 2027.
Residents of the Russian Federation are only eligible for virtual registration.

Selection of participants
The final selection of participants (limited number) is based on your motivation statement and providing a balanced participant group. Applicants will be informed about the outcome of the selection by the end of November 2026.
Virtual participation
Virtual participation means you will get access to the virtual platform where all sessions will be livestreamed, and you will also be able to interact by submitting questions using the interactive Q&A tool Slido.
There is no limit to the number of virtual attendees.
