ECNP Association (ECNP)

ECNP Association (ECNP), having its statutory seat in Utrecht, The Netherlands, registered with the Chamber of Commerce number 92812538, would like to bring to your attention the following disclaimers in regard of its activities, this website and/or specified meetings. 

ECNP maintains this website and the ECNP Knowledge Hub to enhance public access to information. Although ECNP’s goal is to keep this information and material timely and accurate, no assumptions whatsoever may be made in regard of the accuracy and completeness of such information and material. If errors are brought to our attention, we will correct them at our sole discretion. However, ECNP shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that might result from the use of the information this website and the Knowledge Hub contains.   

Content provided (sessions, courses, webinars, podcasts, on-demand recordings, publications etc.) are for informational and educational purposes only and do not define standards of care nor are they intended to dictate exclusive courses of management or practice.  For reasons beyond its control (such as wars, strikes, lockouts, riots and other civil disturbances, nature events such as earthquakes, floods and droughts, pandemics, virus outbreaks, and any other causes, including the deterioration of any existing events), ECNP has the right to immediately alter or cancel the activities or events or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly thereto. No party involved shall be entitled to any compensation for damages that result from such alteration or cancellation. 

Furthermore, with the exception of any wilful damage or gross negligence committed by ECNP and/or its agents, ECNP shall at no time be liable for any direct or indirect damage, including consequential and immaterial damage, suffered by any party due to their failure to comply with any provision of these activities or events. 

In the event of any problems in regard of any ECNP’s activities, the parties involved should get in contact with ECNP indicating what the nature of the problem is. Disputes arising hereunder are governed by Dutch law and the Dutch courts shall be exclusively authorised to rule on such disputes. 

Stichting ECNP Research and Scholarship 

The organiser of the ECNP meetings and meetings is the Dutch foundation ECNP Research and Scholarship Stichting (De ECNP Research and Scholarship Foundation), hereinafter mentioned as ‘ECNP R&S’, having its statutory seat in Amsterdam, registered with the Chamber of Commerce number 41215196. If ECNP R&S is faced with an event beyond its control and decides, at its sole discretion, that such event complicates or prevents its performance, ECNP R&S and its agents shall be entitled, whether that event was foreseeable or not, to alter or cancel in full or in part the organised activities and/or any of its related elements (arrangements, timetables, planning of a scientific meeting, et cetera). Such events shall include wars, strikes, lockouts, riots and other civil disturbances, nature events such as earthquakes, floods and droughts, pandemics, virus outbreaks, and any other causes, including the deterioration of any existing events. Companies and or participants shall not be entitled to claim compensation for any direct or indirect damages that they may incur from any such alteration or cancellation of the ECNP meeting. 

ECNP R&S shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by companies, participants or any third party caused by or in any way connected to the participation in the ECNP meeting, unless such loss or damage is caused by the intent or the wilful negligence on the part of ECNP R&S or its management personnel. Disputes arising hereunder are governed by Dutch law and the Dutch courts shall be exclusively authorized to rule on such disputes. 

Stichting 38th ECNP Congress

The Dutch foundation Stichting 38th ECNP Congress has its statutory seat in Utrecht and is registered at the Chamber of Commerce with number 86118404. If the Stichting 38th ECNP Congress is faced with an event beyond its control and decides, at its sole discretion, that such event complicates or prevents its performance, the Stichting 38th ECNP Congress and its agents shall be entitled, whether that event was foreseeable or not, to alter or cancel in full or in part the organised activities and/or any of its related elements (arrangements, timetables, planning of a scientific meeting, et cetera). Such events shall include wars, strikes, lockouts, riots and other civil disturbances, nature events such as earthquakes, floods and droughts, pandemics, virus outbreaks, and any other causes, including the deterioration of any existing events. If the Stichting 38th ECNP Congress, at its sole discretion, considers this feasible, it shall (partially or fully) repay prepaid registration fees for the 38th ECNP Congress. However, companies and or participants shall not be entitled to claim compensation for any direct or indirect damages that they may incur from any such alteration or cancellation of the 38th ECNP Congress.

The Stichting 38th ECNP Congress will take reasonable measures to protect the companies and participant’s interests, but shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by companies, participants or any third party caused by or in any way connected to the participation in the 38th ECNP Congress, unless such loss or damage is caused by the intent or the wilful negligence on the part of the Stichting 38th ECNP Congress or its management personnel. Disputes arising hereunder are governed by Dutch law and the Dutch courts shall be exclusively authorized to rule on such disputes. 

Stichting 39th ECNP Congress

The Dutch foundation Stichting 39th ECNP Congress has its statutory seat in Utrecht and is registered at the Chamber of Commerce with number 86103814. If the Stichting 39th ECNP Congress is faced with an event beyond its control and decides, at its sole discretion, that such event complicates or prevents its performance, the Stichting 39th ECNP Congress and its agents shall be entitled, whether that event was foreseeable or not, to alter or cancel in full or in part the organised activities and/or any of its related elements (arrangements, timetables, planning of a scientific meeting, et cetera). Such events shall include wars, strikes, lockouts, riots and other civil disturbances, nature events such as earthquakes, floods and droughts, pandemics, virus outbreaks, and any other causes, including the deterioration of any existing events. If the Stichting 39th ECNP Congress, at its sole discretion, considers this feasible, it shall (partially or fully) repay prepaid registration fees for the 39th ECNP Congress.
