Networks Board

The ECNP Networks Board is responsible for guiding and overseeing the activities of ECNP Networks, ensuring strategic direction, inclusiveness, and efficiency. The Board plays a crucial role in fostering collaboration, supporting translational neuroscience research, and strengthening ECNP’s research network.

Composition

The Board consists of the President-elect and a co-chair. The Networks Board works closely with the ECNP Office, which provides operational and strategic support. 

Tasks

The task of the Networks Board is to:

  • Oversees all Network initiatives, ensuring strategic vision, inclusiveness, and smooth operations
  • Reviews requests for Network activities and membership applications
  • Provides strategic recommendations to the ECNP Executive Committee (EC) on Network-related matters

Time commitment

Board members are expected to attend bi-weekly 30-minute board meetings and actively contribute to ongoing tasks. Additionally, they will attend and moderate the Networks Taskforce meeting twice a year—once at the beginning of the year and once during the ECNP Congress.

As part of their role, members receive complimentary registration, accommodation, and travel for the annual ECNP Congress and the bi-annual Networks Taskforce meetings according to the guidelines.
