ECNP dissemination tools
ECNP is well-equipped to assist in the dissemination of EU projects. Our expertise primarily revolves around EU Horizon projects. The budgets provided on this page are tailored for a 48-month duration.
To kickstart our collaboration, ECNP is excited to extend complimentary access to a meeting room at our annual congress venue. This opportunity will facilitate consortium meetings and foster valuable interactions between different projects.
Additionally, ECNP requires a minimum investment to cover two essential components: information of the new project on the ECNP webpage and attendance of an ECNP representative at the Kick-off meeting. Therefore, the minimum budget allocation for ECNP support is EUR 2.500.
ECNP webpage (required)
The EU projects supported by ECNP are placed on the ECNP website (95,000 users on average per year) with a short project outline and weblink to the project’s own webpage.
Attendance of kick-off meeting (required)
A representative of ECNP will attend the first kick-off meeting in person. The following annual meetings are attended virtually unless it is specifically required to attend in person.

Additionally, you have the flexibility to choose from eight supplementary options to complement your project's needs.
Dissemination of EU project generated content via ECNP channels
1) ECNP newsletter – costs EUR 3.500
Via the monthly ECNP newsletter, called the E-news, ECNP can circulate project newsletters, interviews and other suitable content to a maximum of 4 times per year. Note that the content needs to be generated by the project collaborators themselves. The E-news is sent to a database of around 29,000 researchers and clinicians.
2) ECNP social media accounts – costs EUR 5.000
The ECNP accounts can engage by liking and resharing posts from the project's account, comprising up to 10% of ECNP's own activity on social media channels. Followers January 2024: Twitter (~4,3857 followers), LinkedIn (5,672 followers), Facebook (followers 8,100), Instagram (~2,550 followers).
Annual ECNP Congress
3) Promotion at ECNP events – costs EUR 1.500
In collaboration with the dissemination coordinator, ECNP will create a promotional banner designed to showcase the project at ECNP events. The banner will adhere to the ECNP format, which incorporates a QR code linking to the project's website.
4) Submission support for ECNP Congress programme – costs EUR 200
We support EU projects in their submission for the ECNP Congress programmes. The ECNP Office will inform on the opening and closing of the submission pages and can give advice on project suitable session types.
5) Campfire at the ECNP Congress – costs EUR 7.500
During the course of the EU project, ECNP offers the possibility for one Campfire at the ECNP Congress. The session needs to adhere to the ECNP Campfire guidelines.
ECNP podcast series
6) Two podcast recordings per EU project – costs EUR 3,500
ECNP podcasts aim to bring conversations with some of the leading researchers in applied neuroscience to the ECNP community. They appeal especially to our younger audience. Together with the project co-ordinator, ECNP can record a maximum of two podcasts per EU project. For the format ECNPs podcast guidelines are followed.
Attendance of EU project meetings
7) Attending monthly meetings – costs EUR 4.800
A representative of ECNP will digitally attend and contribute to the monthly (work package) meetings.
8) Webinar series – estimated costs between EUR 5.000 and EUR 30.000
Going forward, ECNP is developing a meeting and learning platform, which in the future will be able to support dissemination. Suitable examples include: the establishment of clinical guidelines, courses on specific topics with new outcomes and webinar series. Once the platform and session types are established, possible ECNP webinar formats will be published below.
