Selection criteria

The SPC will evaluate proposals based on the following:

  • Scientific relevance: potential for future breakthroughs and alignment with the congress’s thematic scope
  • Programme coherence: contribution to a balanced and comprehensive congress programme
  • Translational focus: integration of pre-clinical, translational, and clinical perspectives
  • Balance and diversity:
    1) Gender: inclusive representation
    2) Geographical diversity: especially encouraging speakers from underrepresented regions (Eastern/Southern Europe, Asia, Africa). Preferably one speaker per country; if more, please include a brief justification in the outline.
  • Programme history: Topics and speakers should be new to ECNP. Speakers who presented at any of the last three ECNP Congresses are not eligible, click [here]
