General information - Venice School 2018

Venue
The ECNP School will take place at San Servolo island.

Registration and accommodation

Only applicants who have been selected for participation will be able to attend the school. There is no registration fee.
Single rooms have been arranged at the venue, San Servolo, for the duration of the school period.

Meals
Breakfasts and lunches (except lunch on Wednesday), served at the self service restaurant at San Servolo are included. On Sunday there is a welcome dinner and on Thursday a dinner in Venice will be organised. All other dinners are on your own expenses. At San Servolo you can have a dinner at the self service restaurant, only cash payments allowed (Euro 11).

Travel

Participants have to arrange and pay their own travel to and from San Servolo island, Venice.

CDE Grant - School
The CDE Grant is open to all participants resident of a European country with a developing economy (CDE*).
This grant supports travel expenses for the ECNP School. If you wish to apply for a CDE travel subsidy please send us an e-mail .
*CDE-countries within Europe are: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia-FYR, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine.

Insurance
It is highly recommended that all participants carry proper individual travel and health insurance.

Passport and visa information
A valid passport is required for entry into Italy. Visas may be required for some countries.
For specific information, please contact the Italian embassy as soon as possible. If a letter of invitation is required for the purpose of obtaining a visa, please send an e-mail to the ECNP Office.

Programme
Registration will take place on Sunday 8 April from 17.00-17.30, followed by an opening session. The welcome dinner will start at 19.00.
Wednesday afternoon is a free afternoon and you may enjoy the beautiful city of Venice. An updated programme can be found here.
Presence at the school
Participants have to be present at all sessions, from Sunday evening until the end of the last session on Friday at 13.00.

Certificate of attendance
A certificate of attendance can be obtained on site upon request on Friday during the coffee break.

Language
The official language will be English. No translation will be provided.

Disclosure
ECNP requests speakers and presenters to disclose potential conflicts of interest. This will allow the audience to take potential conflicts of interest into account when assessing the objectivity of the presentation.
Speakers and presenters are requested to disclose potential conflicts of interest regarding their current presentation in the first slide of their presentation.
Potential conflicts of interest can involve: grants, honoraria, shares, paid positions on advisory boards etc.
