The Scientific Advisory Panelis is ECNP’s scientific sounding board, providing guidance and content advice in ECNP’s key areas of scientific focus in disorders, interventions and methods.
Who can apply?
If you are an ECNP member in good standing or are willing to become an ECNP member, you are eligible to self-nominate. We encourage you to put yourself forward.
What does the role involve?
Responsibilities are focused on abstract review in May-June every year (average 60 abstracts per person). SAP members also review the programme for the Congress and give their comments.
How to apply
If you are interested in joining the SAP, please submit your self-nomination via the button below using your MyECNP username and password to login.
You will need to submit:
- A short motivation statement (max 250 words) outlining your suitability and the contribution you would bring to the panel, in terms of prior experience and vision going forward
- A current CV
Deadline
All applications must be submitted by 23 January 2026 and will be treated with strict confidentiality.
Selection process
All submissions will be reviewed, taking into account scientific standing, gender balance, diversity, and geographical representation when selecting new panel members.
It is foreseen that the outcome will be emailed to you in March 2026. The term will start in April 2026. If you have any questions about the process, please let us know.
