Junior Project Manager Operations for 32-36 hours a week.

Then ECNP is looking for you as our new junior project manager operations.

Join our close and motivated team and become our new colleague in a collaborative, supportive office environment. We have a dedicated office in Utrecht, but also offer flexible working arrangements after the onboarding period, with the possibility of partly working from home.

Excellent English is essential; being able to speak and write Dutch a definite advantage.

As the successful candidate you will

• Preferably have experience working with meetings/congresses registration and abstract/posters submission software

Tasks and responsibilities
Event operational support
• Collaborate with the team members to support the registration processes for congresses, workshops, and membership renewals (both virtual and in person)
• Co-ordinate small operational projects for online and in-person events, such as webinars, with a focus on the technical back-end of event platforms and applications
• Oversee the submission and review process for scientific abstracts, ensuring accepted posters and presentations are handled accurately and on time
• Support the financial administration connected to the smooth running of our events, including invoices, payments, and reimbursements

Data and systems management
• Streamline and optimise data workflows within our software systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Review, validate, and maintain high-quality data related to registrations, memberships, and scientific submissions

Communication and community support
• Respond to inquiries from members and the broader scientific community, providing clear, professional, and service-minded communication

Team collaboration
• Contribute actively to a supportive and collaborative team environment
• Provide backup support for colleagues during peak periods or when additional help is needed

Criteria
MBO or HBO working and thinking level. You are available 32-36 hours a week, preferably live in the Utrecht area, and willing to travel abroad if necessary. You are required to be a Dutch or an EU citizen or have a work permit for the Netherlands.

What ECNP offers
ECNP offers a challenging job in a dynamic environment within an international non-profit organisation. The position has a competitive salary and benefits, including a pension plan, 180 hours of holiday full time (36 hours) and a guaranteed 13th month. The expectation is that, after the 12-month trial period, the position will lead to a permanent contract.
