Meet our keynote speaker
We are proud to have Joseph LeDoux, USA as our keynote speaker for the 33rd ECNP Congress Virtual!
Joseph LeDoux is a University Professor and Henry and Lucy Moses Professor of Science at New York University, and directs the Emotional Brain Institute located at both NYU and at the Nathan Kline Institute. His work is focused on the brain mechanisms of memory and emotion.
His lecture, ‘As soon as there is life, there is danger’, will present some of his latest research and results.

New Medication Session: submit your proposal
The New Medications Session offers a show case of the freshest and best data on new medications, including proof of concept and post-marketing studies, to the ECNP Congress community.
Are you interested in presenting your new medication at the 33rd ECNP Congress?
Please send us by e-mail, before 2 June 2020, the following details:
- A suggested speaker (name, institute, e-mail)
- A presentation title (max. 25 words)
- A summary explaining the content of the presentation (max. 250 words)
- A short motivational statement: why is it important that these findings are shared?
We accept submissions from both academia and industry.

2020 Best Negative Data Prize: call for submissions
In collaboration with the Global Preclinical Data Forum (GPDF), a partnership between Cohen Veterans Bioscience (CVB), a U.S. non-profit research biotech and the ECNP Preclinical Data Forum, we invite you to submit your publications with ‘negative’ results in neuroscience research.
The award will be conferred at the 33rd ECNP Congress, 12-15 September 2020, where the winner will present a talk about his or her negative data results paper.
The winner will receive a prize of € 10,000 made available through the generous support of CVB.
How to apply
Corresponding authors may submit their papers directly on the GDPF website. The deadline is 31 May 2020.
