ECNP Seminars

The ECNP Seminar – two days of intensive interactive training – is one of ECNP’s most effective and popular training events. 2015 saw a record number of five: in Armenia, 10-12 October; Macedonia, 4-6 April; Turkey, 31 October- 2 November; Serbia, 14-16 November; and Georgia, 28-30 November. Our congratulations to the Educational Committee and local co-ordinators. If you are interested in having a Seminar in your country, you can find the complete requirements and application form here.

ENP Articles of the Month

This month we feature two articles for free download: Efficacy and safety of extended-release guanfacine hydrochloride in children and adolescents with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder: A randomized, controlled, Phase III trial,’ by Amaia Hervas et al.; and ‘Insulin and insulin-like growth factor receptors in the brain: Physiological and pathological aspects,’ Haim Werner and Derek LeRoith.

CINP White Paper published in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery

The CINP White Paper ‘Innovative partnerships to accelerate CNS drug discovery for improved patient care’ has been published in Nature Reviews Drug Discovery.

The White Paper was developed following the CINP Summit held in November 2013 in Munich, Germany, to discuss the lack of new drugs in the CNS drug development pipeline. The full text of the paper, including more information on the action plan, can be accessed here. Our congratulations to Peter Høngaard Andersen for spearheading this initiative.
