Abstracts

Can I still submit an abstract?
No, it is no longer possible to submit your abstract. The deadline was 7 July 2020.
To get your abstract reviewed by the review committee, the presenting author must be registered for the congress before 7 July.

Is there a special fee for abstract submitters?
If you are an Early Career Scientist and resident in Europe you are able to benefit from a free fee. All other abstract submitters pay the normal registration fees.

When and how will I know if my abstract has been accepted?
If your abstract was submitted before 1 April you should have received the outcome of the review. If you have not received the outcome, please contact the ECNP Office. If your abstract was submitted between 15 June and 7 July and you have registered for the congress, the presenting author will be informed of the decision of the scientific review committee before 15 August 2020. The outcome letter is send via e-mail to the presenting author.

What happens if my abstract is accepted for presentation?
When your abstract is accepted for presentation you can present an electronic poster during the virtual congress. There will be a designated ePoster area available during the congress where every accepted poster is presented. More information will be send via e-mail after 15 August 2020.

Where can I find the congress abstracts?
The abstracts that have been accepted will be posted in the online programme and if accepted for publication also published in a digital supplement to the journal European Neuropsychopharmacology.

Will there be a supplement with all the abstracts?
The abstracts that are accepted for publication will be published in a digital supplement to the journal European Neuropsychopharmacology. The journal will be available online before 1 December 2020.

Posters

How can I create my ePoster?
For the 33rd ECNP Congress Virtual we will be using interactive posters called ePosters. If your abstract has been accepted for presentation you will receive an e-mail with instructions to create your ePoster before 1 August.

Are there poster sessions during the congress?
There are dedicated ePoster sessions per day at the congress but the ePoster area is open 24/7. We will ask the poster presenters to schedule their live poster jams and chat sessions during the dedicated poster session times, but they can also occur outside the set timeslots.
