ECNP School of Neuropsychopharmacology

The ECNP School of Neuropsychopharmacology offers a select number of participants a week-long programme of intensive training in all aspects of neuropsychopharmacology: from its fundamentals to the use of medications in individual indications, good clinical practice and optimal treatment and algorithms.
The school was held in Oxford, United Kingdom, on 30 June - 5 July 2019.
Participants were selected by the chair of the school, with two to three potential candidates per country, on the basis of their career potential. A maximum of 50 early career psychiatrists were accepted and their accommodation costs were covered by ECNP.

The school is intended for outstanding, 'up and coming’ young psychiatrists who aspire to lead the profession in their home country in the coming years.
Applicants with substantial research training may apply during their residency (preferable after at least 2 years of clinical practice).
Applicants who have completed residency should normally not have completed more than 6 years in full time practice.
The school is only for residents in Europe (Europe being the 47 countries of the Council of Europe plus Israel and Belarus).
Your application will be considered individually and on its merits. A personal statement to explain, in your own words, why you should attend, is mandatory.
Please note that it is not possible to participate in more than one School of ECNP.

During the application process, applicants were asked to upload the following:
- Copy of ID
- Letter from the applicant’s institute confirming the application requirements are met by the applicant.
