28th ECNP Congress

The 28th ECNP Congress was an outstanding success! Once again we would like to thank all the members of the ECNP committees, faculty members and all participants for coming to Amsterdam.

Have you missed this year's congress? Or you were present, but missed one of the sessions? You can check the webcasts from many lectures on our website (via our online scientific programme) to see if it is available online.

For a complete impression of this year’s activities at the congress, take a few moments to browse through the four issues of our congress newsletter ECNP Daily News

29th ECNP Congress

With the congress in Amsterdam only just behind us, we are already looking forward again to our next congress in Vienna, 17-20 September 2016.

One of the innovations of this congress: instead of the usual 28, we will have 35 scientific symposia! A number of plenary speakers have already accepted, the speakers of the symposia are about to be invited.

You can already submit your abstract for poster presentation. All information and guidelines for submission are available on the website.

Registration for the 29th ECNP Congress is also open! The sooner you register, the lower the registration fees! You can register here.

ECNP Workshop 2017

The next ECNP Workshop on Neuropsychopharmacology will be held on 9-12 March 2017 in Nice, France.

Junior scientists from Europe wishing to attend are invited to submit a scientific abstract for poster presentations (deadline is 17 October 2016).

The 100 selected junior scientists will receive free registration, free hotel accommodation, and heavily subsidised travel costs.

More information about the programme and abstract submission can be found here.

The Anna-Monika Prize is awarded biannially to clinical scientists who have made outstanding contributions to the understanding of the neurobiological underpinnings of depression. On Tuesday 1 September, the prize was awarded during a special Plenary lecture to Ned H. Kalin (University of Wisconsin, USA) and Carmine Pariante (Institute of Psychiatry, King's College, London, UK).

ECNP congratulates the winners with this prestigious prize!

Both Ned Kalin and Carmine Pariante also presented a correspondig lecture during the 28th ECNP Congress.
