Congress Corner

A number of deadlines are approaching for the 27th ECNP Congress, below a few reasons why to attend...

The congress starts a day earlier with parallel sessions already on Saturday 18 October, and finishes on Tuesday (instead of Wednesday). Although time is shorter, we have added new sessions: 'Career development sessions' and 'Rapid-fire poster sessions'. More info

Also new this year is free registration for poster presenters from a country with a developing economy (CDE). You can also apply for a CDE Grant (EUR 500, to cover your travel expenses to the congress).

And of course the benefits we have for junior scientists...

Not convinced yet? View here why well known scientists visit our congresses. Antonio Persico: "It's one of the few meetings that has both very high clinical and scientific standards".

Abstract submission - 1 April 2014
Early registration - 15 April 2014 (lower fees!)

Symposium proposals: deadline approaching

The deadline for submission of symposium proposals for the 28th ECNP Congress in 2015 is rapidly approaching. If you have a great idea for a symposium, please share it with us here.

A symposium consists of a title, four lecture titles and speakers and a short outline explaining the topic.

You can send your proposal until 15 March 2014.

Targeted Network Meetings: apply now

On Wednesday 22 October 2014 three Targeted Network Meetings (TNMs) will be held, organised by:
  • Anxiety Disorders Network
  • European Network for Schizophrenia
  • Suicide Network
If you would like to participate in one of the meetings, you can send us your motivation by e-mail.

Click here for more info on the ECNP Networks and how to apply for a TNM.

Members only: organise a brainstorming session

ECNP members can apply to organise one of the nine brainstorming sessions taking place during the 27th ECNP Congress. Brainstorming sessions are small focused sessions with two experts and an open discussion in a specific field of interest.

Information on how to send in a proposal (deadline: 1 April 2014) is available on the ECNP members' site.
