ECNP offers a range of special incentives to the participants of the congress:

Regular fee
Regular fee is for psychiatrists, neuroscientists, neurologists and psychologists, unless they fall under category of the Early Career Scientists (ECS) or residents of a country with developing economy (CDE). In that case, they can register with the ‘Reduced (ECS or CDE)’ or ‘ECS nominated by ECNP Ordinary Member’ fees.
If you become ECNP member, you can benefit from the lower registration fee.

Reduced CDE — Countries with a developing economy
Registration discounts of up to EUR 485 (depending on date of registration).
For individuals who are resident in a Country with a Developing Economy (CDE).

Reduced ECS — Early Career Scientist
Early Career Scientists
Registration discounts of up to EUR 485 (depending on date of registration).
For individuals matching the ECNP definition of an Early Career Scientist:

  • Not older than 40 years (on the first day of the congress)
  • Resident in Europe (Europe being the 47 countries of the Council of Europe plus Israel and Belarus)

Please note, during the registration process you need to confirm that you are an Early Career Scientist by uploading a valid copy of your ID or passport.

Early Career Scientist (ECS) nominated by ECNP Ordinary Member

ECNP Ordinary Member registered for the congress can nominate one Early Career Scientist (ECS), not yet registered for the congress, for a EUR 100 registration fee.

How to nominate?
In their My ECNP portal a registered ECNP Ordinary Member can indicate an e-mail address of the ECS. If this ECS has not registered yet, an e-mail with further information on how to register for the congress will be sent to the ECS.

Please note, in order to be eligible for EUR 100 registration fee, a nominated Early Career Scientist should:

  • Meet all Early Career Scientist criteria set by ECNP
  • Not be registered already for the 34th ECNP Congress Hybrid
  • Upload valid copy of ID/passport during registration

Abstract submitters
When submitting an abstract you were asked to wait with registration until the outcome of the review was known. If your abstract was accepted you will be offered the early registration rate until 4 August.

Submission by Early Career Scientist (ECS)
The registration is free for ECS presenting authors, residing in a country within Europe* if the abstract is accepted for publication in the digital congress supplement to the journal European Neuropsychopharmacology. To be eligible for the free registration the abstract must be submitted by the presenting author (who fits the ECS criteria) and he/she has uploaded the proof of age document during the submission. Registrations made before the outcome was known will not be refunded.
*Europe being the 47 countries of the Council of Europe plus Israel and Belarus.

ECNP Excellence AwardECNP Excellence Award 
Early Career Scientists (according to the criteria) and/or residents of an European Country with a Developing Economy (CDE)* are encouraged to submit an abstract for poster presentation. Excellent work might be rewarded with an ECNP Excellence Award.
*CDE-countries within Europe are: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia-FYR, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine.
