Covid-19 and the ECNP Congress – update

The coronavirus epidemic is the biggest public health emergency in living memory.

As the organiser of a major scientific meeting, we are acutely aware of our responsibility to ECNP’s stakeholders – including those who have registered and are thinking of registering. As we chart our way through this crisis, we are listening carefully to what governments and international agencies are advising, and to the ECNP community. Our highest priority is your safety and health as a member of that community, and the safety and health of the wider public. ECNP coronavirus congress update

September is still half a year away and with containment now the focus of worldwide attention, we are hopeful that normal conditions will be restored in time to make the 33rd ECNP Congress a very successful meeting.

Accordingly, the organisation of the 33rd ECNP Congress is going ahead as planned.

Judging by the numbers of those who have already registered and/or submitted an abstract, many share our confidence, which is very pleasing to see.

Whatever happens, we will do everything we can to safeguard your interests as a member of the ECNP Congress community. We’ll do our best to keep you informed with the latest updates, and news as we have it.

It’s also worth pointing out that, if you register for the congress, you can cancel right up to 1 August, with a refund, minus the administration fee.

And as ever, if you have questions, let us know!
