ECNP Media Award

ECNP Media Award

The ECNP Media Award recognises those who have made major contributions to destigmatising disorders of the brain in any medium, including journalism, literature, dance, film or theatre.

This may take the form of informing and educating the European public about disorders of the brain and their personal and social impact and/or explicating the underlying science.

Preference will be given to work that highlights the connection with scientific research and helps to make the science of brain disorders accessible to a lay audience.

The award may be given for a specific work, or body of work, published, broadcast or posted online within Europe, in any European language, and readily accessible to the general public.

The award winner will be presented with a EUR 5000 prize at the ECNP Congress. Travel to and accommodation at the congress will also be covered.
