The ECNP Neuropsychopharmacology Award, the ECNP Lifetime Achievement Award and the ECNP Fellowship Awards will be presented during the welcome ceremony alternated with entertainment and short speeches. The following performances will be presented:
- The Scapino Ballet of Rotterdam
- Jeroen van Veen
Dutch pianist, arranger and composer
Following the welcome ceremony, participants are invited to the welcome reception held in the Auditorium lounge, where they will have the opportunity to meet and interact with colleagues in an enjoyable environment.
Guests will be served drinks and Dutch delicacies in the form of a Dutch market buffet.

The congress party promises to
be an unforgettable evening. Participants will be able to dine, dance and enjoy entertainment throughout the evening.
An international buffet with a Dutch flair will be served.
Built in 1883 by the British Imperial Continental Gas Association, the Westergasfabriek is the oldest gas works in the Netherlands. The buildings were designed in a variation of the 'Dutch Renaissance' style. In 1989, the remainders of the buildings were officially recognised as industrial monuments. The large, round Gashouder, nearly 60 metres in diameter, was built in 1903 and is the most characteristic building in the Westergasfabriek. The Gashouder was the largest gasholder in the Netherlands at the time and is now used to host events and gatherings in a very unique atmosphere.

Once arriving at the 'Westergasfabriek', guests will be able to follow the signs indicating the ECNP Congress party in order to reach the Gashouder, the venue for the evening.

At the end of the evening, free buses will leave the party at 22.15 and 23.00 hours to bring guests to the main congress hotels and other drop off points.
